Not sure how I feel about that as a consumer of content. But just pointing that out.
But I'm also not a fan of ad-supported content. The more ads, the less likely I am to read something. Call me a purist, but I want my $$ going to the content creators.

I think that the difference is that the marketplace-y stuff is layered on top of a paid SaaS service?
It is. I just found it interesting how similar-ish the approaches were.

But I have a huge huge huge soft spot for a multi-part biz model, so it is the good sort of history-rhyme, IMO
