Good thoughts on TechCrunch, which was well-connected to the startup industry. Your thoughts on a recurring subscription product make great sense, given that The Information (ex-TC Natasha, etc.) has a very good product and seems to be heir-apparent to the Silicon Valley/Big Tech scene....
Very steep (especially PRO) but I perceive them as having more coverage + other stuff (PRO subscription for insider-like information, etc.). I think TC probably languished within Yahoo as you point out, and Verizon could not figure out what to do with content.

love TI, love the people over there -- but that paywall is STEEP
